Welcome to the home page of the George & Dragon Snailwell.

The  Landlord and Landlady are Les & Eileen Legate .

We reopened the Pub in  2nd November 2007 and have worked hard to produce Good Food and good beer.

There is a big garden at the back of the pub with the river Snail at the bottom.

This is a community pub and children are welcome.

We have won the best hanging baskets this year again (2011) and was presented with a trophy  we have won this for FOUR years running now.

The George & Dragon Public House Seving the village which covers an area of some  2,034 acres,and is the central meeting place.

One of its many popular landlords over the years was william debenham,licensee in 1929,Who planted the  'Lord Derby' apple trees in the garden.

All so this year we was given a 3 stars by East Cambridgeshirse "Scores on the doors"
